Safety is a culture that should begin early. In commemoration of National Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Month 2025—widely known in Indonesia as Bulan K3 Nasional—the MIPCON Group HSE Department took a proactive step beyond the industrial site to engage with the community.
On this special occasion, we organized a First Aid Refreshment and Emergency Response Training specifically designed for children at the Huria Kristen Batak Church (HKBP), Perumnas 2 Bekasi. This initiative aimed to instill a mindset of safety from a young age and equip the next generation with essential survival skills.
The program was conducted under the theme: “Refreshment Training and Emergency Response Simulation for Earthquakes and Fires.”
This theme was deliberately selected in response to the geographical reality of Indonesia, where the risk of natural disasters like earthquakes and urban hazards like fires remains high. Moving away from traditional lectures, the training was designed to be highly interactive and engaging for the young participants. Our HSE experts guided the children through hands-on simulations, including:
This initiative is expected to generate a positive and long-lasting impact, particularly for the congregation of Huria Kristen Batak Church and the surrounding Bekasi community.
By strengthening their preparedness and confidence, we are empowering these children to become “Safety Ambassadors” in their own homes and schools. Ultimately, this contributes to our broader goal of reducing accident risks and enhancing safety awareness across all layers of society.
